Wandering Souls

A place for all of us... Till death!

Welcome, traveler! Its our world out there...

A New Start For Those Still Alive...

The bloody path led toward the forest, luring the blood thirsty creatures of NYC. Many, on the brink of death or heavily beaten, limped slowly toward the area. Vampires, Witches, Demons, Mages, Werewolves, the whole array of immortal creatures marched seemingly in a trance to the illuminated forest. The war between the three species had shaken up the whole world, the demolition of many cities and capitals lay upon the backs of the ones who now crept forward. Through the bright, burning fire, many emerged to join into the line, some human, some immortal, of those who stalked purposely forward. All that was left for the weak humans that remained behind were the burning buildings and bloody roads of the planet. The news of immortals had spread slowly at first, some taking it seriously some not. Then as many of the human race fell dead to the ground, the whole world went into a shocked frenzy. Though humans were not initially pulled into the war between the three groups, - The Blood Army, Werewolves, and Vampires- They had suffered a great deal for being in between it. But now, as the portal to a new world opened for the weary creatures of hell, the monsters seemed grateful to leave behind the world that now burned up in smoke, only the echoing of screams representing that any life still thrived. As the first creature stepped forward and passed though, a strong wind picked up. Lightning striking, earth quakes shaking the ground beneath in a terrible force. The ground arose in deformed, irregular angles pulling down the ruins in the most unfortunate places. Then, like a tornado the portal swirled gaining speed and sucked every object around into it. To the ones who had been inside the furious portal, the nauseating motion had seemed to last a lifetime. Yet, as the portal went blank and slowly crumbled to pieces onto the jagged, burnt earth, all that remained behind were pieces of burning debris and the remaining humans who had lived there in the first place. The immortals had moved on to "Ridian."

The most surprising thing now is that the portal simply sped up time, three hundred years in fact, and rushed those inside to the future. The world, now slightly burnt, torn apart, and dusted, is partially destroyed. But after rebuilding new towns, and parts of the city, the immortals can live peacefully with the few humans that still remain. There is another portal now, but it is not expected to open for many generations to come. Not to mention it is highly guarded and protected. Buildings, shops, malls, and other normal (and also unnatural places) have replaced what was once here. There is no point in saying things will not go on as they always have, the world was only given a fresh start. Electricity, water pipes, and food production has remained the same. All in all, the immortals were blessed with a world of their own, one with few humans, and an endless amount of freedom.
